This is raised above the water at rest. The vessel is intended to operate 99% of the time in foiling mode, already with 6 knots of wind (downwind). The foil arrangement is novel, with two primary foils aft and a forward centerline rudder and stabilizer. This layout is analogous to a canard type aircraft. When the vessel is sailed, the crew will not move from side to side. They will remain in the forward nacelle cockpit and operate the boat from there. Stability or righting moment will be provided by hydrodynamic forces, not by movement of weight.
